The studio known for games like Layers of Fear, The Medium, and Observer have been working on this Silent Hill 2 remake for quite some time now. They, alongside Konami, are sprucing up the classic horror title for an all new generation.

All the Silent Hill Stuff that was Announced

A Silent Hill 2 remake from Bloober is only the start.

That Silent Hill Transmission thing happened yesterday. Konami announced a bunch of stuff that essentially confirmed the months of rumors. I'm going to keep this as short as possible because I'm sick as hell. ...

Konami to Reveal the Future of Silent Hill this Week

It's almost time to see if any of those rumors are true.

The announcement said that fans will learn about "the latest updates for the Silent Hill series." That's really all the information we were given outside of a link to the Silent Hill website. All the website...

Get your hopes up. Go on, do it!

The Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea gave a rating (via Gematsu) to this still unannounced Silent Hill project. The publisher is listed as UNIANA, which apparently is a regular publisher for Konami's titles in Korea.

That's really all we know right now about this...

A New Rumor Suggests Konami will Make a Big Reveal at Tokyo Game Show

It's that time again. Time to get your hopes up!

Last year, we were treated to a rumor by VGC that said Konami was working on remasters of the first Metal Gear Solid games, along with a reimagined Castlevania game, plus several new Silent Hill games from various development studios. Well, VGC is back again with another hot Konami rumor that may or may not pan out. Why report on these at all? Because if I have to suffer through this nonsense, then so do you.

  • Several Silent Hill Projects are Reportedly in Development from Bloober and Annapurna

In my restless dreams, I see that town.

Last week, several images that reportedly came from a new Silent Hill project leaked online. The initial leak was struck by a copyright claim from Konami and were promptly removed, which just meant that the leak was probably quite legitimate.

This week, a new report from VGC says that Konami has not one but several new Silent Hill projects in active development at multiple studios.

First off, VGC mentions a new rumor/leak...

    Here we go again.

A new Silent Hill game is allegedly in development. Or is that multiple new Silent Hill games are in development? Maybe no Silent Hill games are in development? Or there is a Silent Hill game in development by Kojima Productions? Or is that Bloober Team? Konami perhaps getting back to making games?

    Konami's Biggest Game Franchises

In a time long ago, Konami used to make some rather amazing video games. The Japan-based studio was founded back in 1969 as a jukebox rental and repair business. The company slowly entered into the creation and distribution of video games in the late 70s. A lot of Konami's earliest releases were done through arcades, but once home gaming consoles started to arrive, they made the jump in force.

Konami started out with a bang on systems such as the MSX, PC, NES, and more. They...

Konami and GameStop Hop on the NFT Scam

Because everyone needed more reasons to dislike either company.

The gaming world will soon have two additional outlets for NFT scams thanks to both Konami and GameStop. Both companies announced that they are getting into the NFT crypto world with a couple of different approaches.

First up, Konami is set to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Castlevania franchise. There's almost something poetic about celebrating a game series about blood-sucking demons by selling jpgs...

Metal Gear Solid Titles Temporarily Pulled from Stores

The issue involves licenses for historical footage.

Konami announced that they have temporarily removed some of the Metal Gear Solid titles from various digital stores. This removal specifically impacts Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3 along with any package deals that include these titles.

The games were removed because Konami needs to renew the licenses for some of the historical archive footage that is frequently used throughout these titles. God knows that...

Konami Delays Full eFootball Launch Until Spring 2022

After its disastrous early access release, it's probably for the best.

Konami has officially delayed the official launch of eFootball until at least Spring 2022. Back in July, Konami announced that they were turning their Pro Evolution Soccer series into a free-to-play and ever evolving soccer title that they were calling eFootball. Unfortunately for them and for fans, the early access release of eFootball was terrible, and that's putting it mildly.

    The initial launch...
