in NewsLatest Patch Provides a Really Stupid Way to Bring a Certain Metal Gear Solid V Character Back
At some point during the second act for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, you end up losing a partner. Once they're gone, they're gone for good. That is unless of course you were playing on the PC and added them back by slightly modifying a file or two. If you were consoles, well that's just too damn bad. Konami released a new patch for The Phantom Pain recently that now provides an official, albeit really stupid, way to get aforementioned character back. I'll say it right now t... -

A rumor we reported on yesterday has sadly been confirmed today. Konami has confirmed that they have closed their LA studio, the studio once known as Kojima Productions LA. This is the same studio that led development on Metal Gear Online for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
"Konami has made the decision to close its Los Angeles Studio, effective immediately, due to the product development resources being restructured into a more centralized unit. This facility contributed... -

in NewsRumor: Konami Shuts Down Kojima Productions LA
A rumor from George Broussard says that Konami has shut down Kojima Productions LA. With this potential closure, some 35 jobs have just been lost.
The rumor is just that, a rumor for right now. If true, however, this could spell disaster for any potential updates for Metal Gear Online, the competitive game mode that was recently added to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain on consoles. The PC release of Metal Gear Online was (and still is as far as we're aware) slated for release... -

in NewsHideo Kojima Has Officially Left Konami
According to The New Yorker, Hideo Kojima said his final good-byes to Konami on October 9. Anonymous sources said that the popular developer had a farewell party that day with Kojima Productions. Kojima has at least a few months of mandatory R&R as he is under a non-compete until December.
This is the final note for Kojima's career with Konami after months of conflict. The first signs of trouble surfaced back in March of this year when it was rumored that Kojima was expected... -

in NewsPC Retail Version of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain Apparently Includes Just a Steam Installer
Some fans have already managed to pick up the retail release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain for the PC. That's all well and good, early releases happen all the time. What isn't good is that Konami apparently only included a Steam installer on the disc. That's it.
This has so far been "confirmed" by at least one person. Now, whether or not this person is simply trolling the world remains to be seen, so take this news with as much salt as you feel comfortable... -

in NewsKonami Denies Statements from GameSpot that say MGS 5: The Phantom Pain Multiplayer is Locked Behind a Paywall
Yesterday, GameSpot put out an article that said Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain's forward operating base (FOB) multiplayer, was locked behind a paywall. Gamespot said that in order to even play FOB, players had to first purchase an in-game currency, MB Coins, using real world money.
Today, Konami issued a statement to PC Gamer that flat out said that was a complete load of BS.
"Gamespot posted an article following the review that the PVP (FOB) mode in MGSV TPP will... -
