    I'll leave it up to you to figure out how the judges came to any of these winners when stacked up against the competition in each category. Perhaps you'll be able to figure out how Grand Theft Auto V can take "Game of the Year" while still not being the best title on either of its release platforms, nor best action-adventure game.

    But hey, we already knew just how screwed up these awards are anyway and only watch for the sweet, new trailers.

    Questions about the "true" future of the Titanfall franchise were raised beginning this past weekend when we first caught wind of Apex Legends, the latest game from Respawn Entertainment and the latest title to be set in the Titanfall universe. One of the biggest questions was whether or not Apex Legends, a newly released and free-to-play battle royale title, was a phoenix rising from the ashes of Titanfall 3 or if Titanfall 3 was still coming.

    It's been a real rollercoaster of a 24 hours for Titanfall fans. First we saw the release of Apex Legends from Respawn Entertainment. This is a new free-to-play battle royale game that is actually pretty damn good. A bit later in the day, it was revealed that Respawn is not working on TItanfall 3.
