  • Former BioShock and Dishonored Devs Announce New Co-op Horror Game The Blackout Club

    A new co-op horror game is coming at you soon. I know I'm excited, are you? The Blackout Club is a co-op paranormal horror game that is in the works for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It's still a ways away from release though as it's targeting an early 2019 release window.

    The game is the creation of some industry vets including the Creative Director and Lead Writer for BioShock 2, the Lead Effects Artist for BioShock Infinite, and the Senior Gameplay Programmer for Dishonored. This small team came together to form Question LLC. starting in 2013.

    From start to its somewhat expected finish, The Station had its hooks in me something fierce. Let it be known right now that I love a great story driven experience and The Station delivered in spades. Though a bit shorter than I would have liked, I was fully immersed for every single second of it. Let's not beat around the bush here: The Station is what some may call a "walking simulator" or even a "story-driven experience." Whatever you call it, I call it a fun and thoroughly enjoyable time. The story is delivered through a series of relatively short audio logs, floating holographic messages, and optional documents that all come together to build this world and story.     On February 20, the sci-fi mystery game, The Station, will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows, Mac, and Linux. The game was announced today and is coming to you courtesy of a "team of AAA veterans."

    The development team includes Dave Fracchia, a former Studio Head at Radical Entertainment, plus Les Nelkin who worked on Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning as a designer, and Duncan Watt who composed music for games like BioShock Infinite and League of Legends.

    2K has finally announced BioShock: The Collection today. This compilation of the remastered previous BioShock games is slated for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One for $59.99 (USD) courtesy of Blind Squirrel Games.

    BioShock: The Collection is slated to be released on September 13, 2016 in North America and 2 to 3 days later in Australia and Internationally respectively.
