This DLC will serve as a prequel to the main game.

On May 26, Square Enix will launch new story DLC for Forspoken. Forspoken: In Tanta We Trust will serve as a prequel and take place 25 years prior to the events of the main game. It will be released on May 26 for the PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store.

In Tanta We Trust finds Frey continuing to search for a way to get rid of the Break from Athia for good. In the course of doing so, Frey is taken back to the Purge of the Rheddig, "the legendary battle that devasted Athia and eventually drove the Tantas to madness." Frey will fight alongside Tanta Cinta and utilize a new set of magical abilities.

The DLC will let you combo foes with Tanta Cinta. The environments are said to be more vertically designed to better utilize Frey's parkour abilities.

Those that purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition of Forspoken will get early access to In Tanta We Trust on May 23. It will also be sold separately if you don't own the Digital Deluxe Edition. A price for the separate purchase was not revealed today.

This very well could be the final content created by Luminous Productions as it was recently announced that Luminous Productions is being shutdown and team members were being absorbed back into Square Enix.
