The development studio for Forspoken, Luminous Productions, will be absorbed back into Square Enix. The members of the studio will fill positions within Square Enix leaving Forspoken as their first, and only, release.

Forspoken is a game that certainly has some performance woes on both the PlayStation 5 and PC. The lofty hardware requirements on PC certainly paint a picture of a game that has been poorly optimized. Trying to play the game on PC at 1440p with just 60FPS on a 1080 Ti wasn't exactly what I would consider "a fun time." A new Nvidia driver is also out, enabling DLSS support in the game.

I'm somewhere that's not what I would call Earth, I'm seeing freakin' dragons, and oh yeah I'm in a kind of bad game.

The reviews for Forspoken started to come out today and wow, they are not good. Forspoken Delayed Until October

The delay will help the team focus on polish.

Luminous Productions announced a delay for their upcoming open-world action-RPG Forspoken. The delay will see the release shift from May 25 all the way to October 11, 2022.

Forspoken Confirmed for May 2022 Release

A new trailer shown at The Game Awards revealed new footage and the release date.

Square Enix and Luminous Productions revealed a new trailer this evening for Forspoken. This new trailer offered up a new glimpse at the game that Square Enix first showed off back in September 2021.

The new trailer provides us with a bit more story in this action-adventure title. It also shows off some fresh gameplay.
