Earlier today, EA and DICE quietly opened up the beta for Star Wars Battlefront II. Over the past couple of days, the beta was "closed" to the point that only those who pre-ordered the game prior to October 1 were able to participate. Today, everyone can play.

To save you a bit of time, PC users can head to the demos and betas section of Origin to quickly add the "Star Wars Battlefront II Multiplayer Beta" to their account. It will then prompt you to launch Origin if you have it installed and it should download the game automatically.

That's pretty much it.

Don't worry console owners, there are also some handy links for both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. You aren't being left out in the cold on this beta. The beta on all platforms ends in a bit over two and a half days from now.
