The latest Destiny 2 DLC rumor comes to us courtesy of Jason "Press Sneak Fuck" Schreier of Kotaku. This rumor suggests that the first piece of DLC will focus on the magical space wizard, Osiris, and will include a new patrol zone and new social space.

As always, the sources are anonymous, but Schreier's track record on rumors is pretty damn solid. The DLC is apparently called The Curse of Osiris and is slated to be released this December. There will be a new patrol area and it will be on Mercury. A new social space is the Lighthouse, the area formerly reserved to those that went flawless in the Trials of Osiris in Destiny 1.
The DLC’s story will revolve around saving Osiris—who has been mentioned quite a bit in Destiny lore but not yet seen in the game—from the robotic alien Vex. We should hear more about it soon.

Of course, the only way to get access to this DLC is to spend $89.99 (USD) for the game plus Expansion Pass bundle, or buy it separately when it comes out. The Expansion Pass includes the first two expansions for the game, of which The Curse of Osiris is rumored to be the first one. Of course, you could get it separately at release, but I'm guessing that each expansion will be at least $20 on their own.
