Konami announced today that the PC release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will release day and date with its console brothers. That is to say, every platform will get to play the game on September 1, 2015.

In addition to this, the system requirements for the game have been revealed for the PC version of the game.

Some addition details on the PC release were shared today by Kojima Productions on the Steam Community forums.

On top of all of this, those who pre-order The Phantom Pain will get Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes at no extra cost.

Finally, there is some sad news to share today. Metal Gear Online has been delayed on both consoles and PC. Consoles will gain access to the competitive game types on October 6, while PC players won't get access to it until early 2016. However, the base invading aspect for online should still launch on September 1 for all platforms.
