  • DICE Wants to Know What Your Favorite Battlefield Maps Are

In a world of hypotheticals, DICE is king. Hypothetically, if DICE were to continue making content beyond Final Stand, it would include new maps and items. Hypothetically speaking, if DICE were to release some new maps they could hypothetically be updated versions of classic Battlefield maps. And hypothetically speaking, DICE could offer up a survey to get an idea of which maps their fans would most like to see get the Battlefield 4 treatment.

Hypothetically, there are a ton of maps to choose from in this official survey that you should actually, no joke, fill out right now.

Yes, DICE is actually looking to see which of the numerous maps from the extensive history of Battlefield they should look into reimagining for Battlefield 4. I kid you not, they are actually doing this. If you are a Battlefield fan, you had better not even be reading this because you're too busy filling out that survey. If you are still reading this, shame on you. But I guess you can have some more information about what they're planning.
FINAL STAND IS NOT THE END
With Battlefield 4 Final Stand released, we hope and believe that you will enjoy it together with the rest of the game for a long time. However, there is one thing we want to assure you: there is more content coming for Battlefield 4.

We will share details on exactly what this new content will be, and when it will arrive, in the near future. We understand that this may lead to even more questions about our plans, but rest assured that we’ll get back to you on the future of Battlefield 4 when the time is right.

GIVE US YOUR INPUT ON CLASSIC MAPS
We’re aware of – and humbled by – the many requests of re-creating classic Battlefield maps within the Battlefield 4 universe. Now we have a question for you: if a reimagining of a Battlefield classic map was to happen, which map would that be?

We’re really curious about your input on this topic, so head to this poll to share it: https://sv.surveymonkey.com/s/VMRMP3X
Note that you can vote on several maps from several Battlefield games.

    MORE TO COME
As mentioned, more details on the road ahead for Battlefield 4 will be shared going forward. For now, we’d like to thank you for staying awesome, and for joining us for another year of Battlefield 4!

    Seriously, go vote.

I voted for Metro remade with different weather conditions like snow, rain, sandstorm, and uh... Volcanic ash. More Metro maps, the better! Don't ask how I forced the survey to accept my vote and comments. Just know that I just want to make sure there is a chance for more Metro maps to appear! I'm sure Zips would be excited to make TGN map walkthroughs specifically for this if it happens.

The choice "All BF2" maps would be easy but most likely tied up to nostalgia.
They would require a huge amount of "remaking" before they would work in a destructible invironment.

I could see Bandar Desert work well in BF4 not that is a fav. but it has both elements of inf. warfare in the oceanside village and arm. warfare at the army base.

I did enjoy the inf. maps of BF3. Talah Market and Markaz Monolith.

I was VERY selective and even googled some of the maps to make sure I voted for the right ones

Unfortunately majority rules and most players today (according to a battlelog poll) only go as far back as Bad Company 1!

I couldnt believe it, but it was a very small poll, so my hopes are still high.

Hmm, they included Battlefield Bad Company 2 "Vietnam" expansion, but not the Battlefield Vietnam "World War II" official mod.
