Mistfall Hunter is now available on Steam, PlayStation, and XBOX. Billed as a "dark-fantasy extraction ARPG," this game tasks players with fighting, looting, and escaping with your newfound treasures before dying to other combatants or the environment.
This one is brought to you by developer Bellring Games and publisher Skystone Games. The Standard Edition retails for $24.99, with some storefronts offering a limited-time 10% launch discount. A $39.99 Deluxe Edition is also available for purchase that includes a variety of additional cosmetics and bonus in-game currency that is used to purchase even more cosmetic items. Based on what I've seen, there are plenty of gooner skins to choose from.
Mistfall Hunter is a live-service title that will "grow with new season roughly every three months, introducing new content such as classes, forbidden arcana, uncharted zones, and ancient relics." The studios say there are no pay-to-win mechanics or purchasable stat boosts. Just gooner skins. Many... many gooner skins.
The gods are dead, and the Gyldenmist is devouring the world. Revived by a mysterious girl named Dew, players awaken as Gyldhunters and descend into a bleak, forbidden realm to gather precious Gyldenblod and repair the broken Web of Fate. Every run is a high-stakes hunt: loot deep, survive the fog, and carve a path to safety before rival hunters take everything. Reach a Returner Woodling and you extract with your haul intact; fall, and it’s all left behind. Hunt solo or in three-player squads, wield magic and steel with weapons you can swap mid-battle, and return to a world that reshapes itself every season.
