Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is set to be released on August 25, 2026 for PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, Epic, and Steam. Cold Iron Studios and Daybreak Game Company also shared new details about this upcoming co-op third-person survival shooter.
In Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2, four players will once again assume the roles of Colonial Marines in a fight for survival. As Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, it's up to you and your team to combine each class's unique abilities to overcome the odds.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 will go for $49.99 for the Standard Edition with a special 40th Anniversary Premium Edition available for $69.99. This more expensive version includes the game, and additional DLC content based off of the long history of the franchise. The DLC will also be out on August 25 for $19.99 as a standalone upgrade if you decide to pick it up later.

Ripley's Hive Exterminator Pack includes an exclusive cosmetic outfit themed to Ellen Ripley’s appearance near the dramatic climax of 1986’s blockbuster masterpiece, Aliens. The pack includes an outfit based on Rain Carradine, the protagonist from the 2024 film. It also includes Rain’s specially modified pulse rifle, featuring a deadly cryoweapon as an underbarrel bonus. It’s an effective way to immobilize (and shatter) rampaging enemies, highlighting AFE2’s new element-based weapon mods. Players can also further customize their marine with a variety of special decals and enhancements.
