Get a sneak peek at the expansion coming in 2023.
Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty

CD Projekt Red hosted a special episode of Night City Wire today where they showed off a brief peek at Phantom Liberty, the first major expansion in development for Cyberpunk 2077. This reveal came alongside the reveal and release of Patch 1.6 "Edgerunners," which is available right now for all owners of the game.

Today's short reveal for Phantom Liberty was made by game director Gabe Amatangelo. He says that Phantom Liberty will include a new cast of characters not seen or encountered in the base game. Players, once again playing as V, will also experience a new location within Night City. Keanu Reeves is reprising his role as Johnny Silverhand in this expansion.

Phantom Liberty is looking at a vague 2023 release window and only for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Stadia. It looks like CD Projekt Red is ditching the last generation of consoles for this, which honestly makes a lot of sense.
