This is not completely unexpected.
Bethesda took to Twitter today to announce that both Starfield and Redfall have been delayed. The games will no longer launch within 2022 and are now expected to be released in the first half of 2023.
Redfall is the open-world, vampire-slaying, co-op game that is in development at Arkane Austin. We really haven't seen much about the game since it made its debut at E3 2021, even though it was supposed to be out some time this Summer.
Starfield is obviously the next game from Bethesda Game Studios. This is a new IP from the studio that is best known for their Elder Scrolls and Fallout franchises. The original release date for Starfield was set for November 11, 2022.
