    Starfield Delayed Until September

It's still going to be out before the end of the year, at least for now.

Bethesda just announced that Starfield has been delayed once more. The Xbox Series X|S and PC game will now be released on September 6, 2023. This latest delay comes after an initial delay from November 2022 to the first half of 2023.

The little bit of light here is that there will be a new Starfield Direct coming on June 11. This showcase focusing solely on Starfield will air right after the Xbox...

Games to Look Forward to in 2023

I won't lie. I fully expected there to be far more news to post today (January 2, 2023) given that it's the start of the week and the holidays are "technically" over. What I failed to realize is that a ton of people are still off work due to the New Year falling on a Sunday. Thus, here I am opting to do a little write-up about what games I'm looking forward to in 2023 instead of sitting around doing nothing. Who knows, maybe you're looking forward to these games as well. If I missed some games ...

Microsoft to Increases Prices of First-Party Games to $70 in 2023

Microsoft was one of the last of the major hold-outs.

Microsoft says that the price of first-party titles released in 2023 will move from $60 to $70 (USD). This is specifically for games built for the Xbox Series X|S and includes titles such as Starfield, Redfall, and the upcoming Forza Motorsport. Microsoft is one of the last of the major studios to hold off on raising the prices of their first-party titles to $70. Sony started pushing the new $70 norm about two years ago. Other studios...

Modders are Already Working on a Starfield Patch

We all know the game will probably need this.

A group of mod makers are already coming together to begin work on a Starfield community patch. This patch aims to address the bugs in the game, despite the sci-fi RPG not coming out until the first half of 2023 at the earliest.

PCGamesN reports that early work on the Starfield Community Patch (aka: SCP) is underway and that it will be a "collective effort by mod authors and the wider player community of Starfield to fix...

Todd Howard Dishes Details on Starfield, Also Announces Fallout 5

Howard shares a ton of fresh information about Bethesda's upcoming titles.

IGN just shared some of the most important bits from a lengthy interview with Bethesda Game Studios' Todd Howard in which they talk about everything from Starfield to Fallout 5. I guess that means Fallout 5 is officially announced now? Seems that way.

Howard says that "Elder Scrolls 6 is in pre-production and, you know, we're going to be doing Fallout 5 after that, so our slate's pretty full...

Starfield and Redfall Delayed Until 2023

    This is not completely unexpected.

Bethesda took to Twitter today to announce that both Starfield and Redfall have been delayed. The games will no longer launch within 2022 and are now expected to be released in the first half of 2023.

Redfall is the open-world, vampire-slaying, co-op game that is in development at Arkane Austin. We really haven't seen much about the game since it made its debut at E3 2021, even though it was supposed to be out some time this Summer....

    Bethesda Teases Fallout 5

Just don't expect to see it any time soon.

Bethesda's Todd Howard recently sat down with IGN for a new episode of IGN Unfiltered. The media outlet talked about a number of different subjects with the Bethesda executive producer Todd Howard, mostly focusing on the 10th anniversary of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. However, one of the non-Skyrim topics briefly touched upon was the future of the Fallout franchise.

To that end, Howard says that the studio has an idea for Fallout...

War. War never changes... even in space.

Bethesda released a new trailer for their upcoming sci-fi, space-themed, RPG we have come to know and love as Starfield. This new trailer provides us all with a look at some of the game's setting, which seems to be a "small pocket of the Milky Way." This place is called the Settled Systems and they are inhabited by a bunch of different, potentially dangerous factions.

These Settled Systems are located about 50 light years...

Starfield is Exclusive to the Xbox and PC

I mean, it's not actually confirmed as exclusive or anything but c'mon.

There have been some recent leaks of Starfield popping up on social media and compiled into a Reddit thread. They aren't terribly hard to find but they're also not terribly interesting either. This prompted some fresh discussion from GamesBeat's own Jeff Grubb.

According to Grubb, he is putting his foot down, his fist down, maybe even his whole body down and claiming that Starfield is exclusive to...

The Biggest Games to Look Out for in 2021

With 2020 firmly set in our rearview mirrors, it is high time we look forward to what awaits video gamers in 2021. The next-gen consoles, the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X|S, have come out and with them comes a whole world of new possibilities. That is not to say that the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia, and the PC markets will be slumbering throughout the year though.

What we are really saying here is that there are some big titles coming out across...
