The 1.06 update for Cyberpunk 2077 rolled out less than a day ago now. With it comes just a couple of fixes. One of the fixes addresses the issue of save files hitting an 8MB limit which would then cause the save to become corrupt.

It seems as though this issue was only prevalent on the PC as this fix is listed as "PC specific" in the short changelog. There is also one console specific change and one more generalized fix that impacts all platforms.

With this new fix, you should be able to duplicate items and craft as much as you want now.

The download was a bit under 1GB in size on the PC. I've heard all sorts of download sizes for the consoles, including a "16GB" download figure for PlayStation consoles. So, good luck with that I suppose.

Hotfix 1.06 is available on PC and consoles! Here is the full list of changes:

Quests
• Dum Dum will no longer go missing from Totentanz entrance during Second Conflict.

Console-specific
• Improved memory management and stability, resulting in fewer crashes.

PC-specific
• Removed the 8 MB save file size limit. Note: this won’t fix save files corrupted before the update.
