A second season of content outlined in new roadmap.

Saber Interactive just released a new roadmap of free content coming soon to World War Z. This roadmap offers a look at what players can expect in the months ahead for the still fairly popular zombie filled co-op shooter.

Some of the new content includes two new story missions set in Moscow and New York, an entirely new zombie type, crossplay support, a horde mode, and more. Today's news about a new season of content comes roughly a month after the first season came to a conclusion.

World War Z is about as close as you're going to get right now to a Left 4 Dead 3 type of experience. The game is presently an exclusive on the Epic Games Store for the PC in addition to the PS4 and XB1 versions. A release on other PC stores is still apparently up in the air.

World War Z season 2

Powered by Saber’s dynamic Swarm Engine™, World War Z unleashes hundreds of fast-moving, bloodthirsty zombies at a time, able to move and strike as one collective herd, as well as break off as individual attackers. Choose from six distinct classes and an arsenal of deadly weapons, explosives, turrets and traps. Outlive the dead through intense four-player co-op campaign missions around the world, including New York, Jerusalem, Moscow and Tokyo, and battle both zombies and real human opponents in competitive, team-based Players vs. Players vs. Zombies (PvPvZ) multiplayer.
