  • Official Anthem Box Art Revealed Ahead of E3

    It looks like the official box art for BioWare's Anthem was released today? Was it leaked? I don't know. The image came courtesy of shinobi602, a person (possibly a robot) that is usually "in the know" about various gaming related things moreso than most other human beings. Where did shinobi get it? Hell if I know. He just says it came across his "feed" today.

    Whatever the original source is, the fact remains that this is apparently the official box art as confirmed by Anthem producer Mike Gamble.

    You can see the full piece of art below. Because your eyes didn't yet see it below these words before reading them or anything. Look for more Anthem information on June 9.

        Anthem Dies Its Final Death

        The servers are no more.

        BioWare's attempt at a big live-service and always-online game, Anthem, is officially no more. As the clock struck 10 AM PT, the online servers for Anthem started to be shutdown. This means that the game is no longer playable by anybody ever again.

        Electronic Arts and BioWare announced back in July 2025 that they would be taking the Anthem servers offline on January 12. As it so happens to be January 12, 2026, they did indeed take the servers...
