• Rumor: Next Destiny Expansion Called "Rise of Iron"

A poster for the next Destiny expansion looks to have been leaked, at least if the original posting on Reddit is to be believed. The title, Destiny: Rise of Iron, looks to focus on the Iron Lords.

You may know of Lord Saladin. He's the guy that gives you all of those fun Iron Banner bounties. There were nine original Iron Lords. These are the guys that defended the main city (the place you never really get to go to on Earth) a while back. The original nine are all supposedly dead. Nine new guys then apparently took on those vacant positions. So what will the DLC be about? Nobody knows yet.

Other rumors have suggested that this DLC will be larger than the first two year-one DLCs combined. Pricing has obviously not yet been announced. I'm going to assume we'll see more on this upcoming expansion at E3, which is about a month from now.

I'm one of those who are hyped and really excited awaiting its release - looking forward to its reveal (if it does) on E3. Hope the pricing isn't too expensive

Like the first game, we're left wanting more.

When Destiny first launched in late 2014, it was something special, almost magical. Bungie and Activision created a new franchise that let players explore parts of our Solar System from their couches, forge new friendships, take down massive enemies, and feel akin to comic book superheroes. However, that game was not without its faults. At launch, the game lacked much in the way of in-game story, opting instead to send the...
