  I played through The Old Blood a few weeks ago, it's a nice 5 hour extension of the base game, if you enjoyed that i recommend it.
  DOOM on the other hand... we'll see.

  I don't know if him being there would be that big an influence, he was there for id Tech 5 which we all have mixed feelings about, RAGE which... we all have mixed feelings about, he helped create id Tech 6 but left 3 years ago so we'll see where that went without his influence, i'm not questioning his extreme intelligence but it has been a fair few years since the golden era :P.

DOOM: The Dark Ages Releases May 15

This prequel is just four months away.

Doom: The Dark Ages is officially set for release on May 15, 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The game is still being worked on by id Software and will utilize the latest version of their id Tech game engine. Today during a new Xbox Developer_Direct, id Software and Bethesda Softworks confirmed that Doom: The Dark Ages will be a prequel to 2016's Doom.

Doom Gets Re-Release with Online Multiplayer, New Content, and Mod Support

QuakeCon kicked off today and with it came a few new announcements and releases.

First up is a new re-release for both DOOM and DOOM 2 by id Software. These games have been enhanced and combined into a single bundle.
