Bethesda just announced that they have set up new dedicated servers for Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. These official servers will not include any community mods and will only include the original six maps. This makes for a perfect place for those looking for a traditional Enemy Territory experience to frequent.

QuakeCon 2022 began earlier today with a little welcome message from Marty Stratton. I'm sure it was great. I don't know, I didn't watch it. What I do know is that Bethesda and id Software added some classic PC titles to Game Pass today. Bethesda just shared their QuakeCon 2022 schedule with everyone today. There will be some Quake Pro League action, a lot of developer presentations, and plenty of Bethesda-related games shown off during the event. Before you get your hopes up too high, it seems like there won't be any Starfield presentations at QuakeCon this year.

Bethesda and id Software announced the release of the 6.66 update for DOOM Eternal today. This update adds, among other things, a brand new horde mode.

This arcade-style mode will start you off with all perks, all runes, and all upgrades and drop you into the fray with only a Combat Shotgun at the ready. You will have to defeat weaves of demons in order to unlock additional weapons. There are three different maps included...

Fans are already starting to speculate as to what the mysterious Project 2021B is that was recently listed by the Australian Classification Board. This is seemingly a new project that id Software is working on. All we know right now is that it has been given an M (Mature) rating for violence and online interactivity. Earlier this week, we were granted a little look at DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods - Part Two thanks to a short teaser. It was said at that time that we would see a longer trailer coming out on Wednesday, March 17. That would be today. Sure enough, we were given a longer trailer today.

At the same time, it was also speculated that we would get a release of Part Two this week. Sure enough, that also panned out quite nicely.

A short teaser trailer for DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods - Part Two was just released. This trailer shows us a bit of the upcoming conclusion to the DLC that began back in October 2020 for DOOM Eternal. Bethesda and id Software revealed this new trailer in the early hours this morning.

Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, took to the Xbox Wire to talk about how Bethesda is now officially a part of Team Xbox. The whole rigmarole of legal checks have been passed and all parties have agreed to the process. Team Xbox has officially expanded to include Bethesda Game Studios, id Software, ZeniMax Online Studios, Arkane, MachineGames, Tango Gameworks, Alpha Dog, and Roundhouse Studios.

The first details on the first single player expansion for DOOM Eternal came out today courtesy of the Bethesda blog. The first piece of content is called The Ancient Gods, Part One and includes travel to "previously uncharted realms of the DOOM universe."
