I played through The Old Blood a few weeks ago, it's a nice 5 hour extension of the base game, if you enjoyed that i recommend it.
DOOM on the other hand... we'll see.
I don't know if him being there would be that big an influence, he was there for id Tech 5 which we all have mixed feelings about, RAGE which... we all have mixed feelings about, he helped create id Tech 6 but left 3 years ago so we'll see where that went without his influence, i'm not questioning his extreme intelligence but it has been a fair few years since the golden era :P.

DOOM: The Dark Ages is out on Tuesday for those that purchase the Premium Edition can play on Tuesday, May 13. Those that get the regular edition can play on Mary 15th. Thanks to a single global release time, those in the Americas will get to play starting on May 12th at 8PM for Premium and on May 14th at 8PM for regular....
