Right now, Far Cry 4 is sitting at just over 7 million units sold since its release last year.
Guillemot is remaining optimistic as well and claims, "this game will continue to live for a long time as we update with content for a long time." Undoubtedly the company hopes that this commitment to a lengthy period of support will help translate into big sell-through numbers.
Far Cry 2, 3 and 4 fit into a big market for sandbox games, if Siege is multiplayer only which it seems to be, it fits into a much much smaller market.
If they want the 7 million, I think it would be best for them if they heed those warnings and make changes.
