The pre-load for Battlefield 2042's upcoming beta went live last night. If you have not yet downloaded the content in preparation for tomorrow, here is how you can do it.
It is important to note that the beta will not show up automatically in your game library. You will need to visit specific parts of your storefront of choice. For instance, Steam has an option to "Request Access" to the Battlefield 2042 open beta. You will need to click that. Afterwards, the beta client will appear in your Steam Library. Origin has a "Try It First" option. Epic Games Store has a "Join Now" listing for the open beta.
- PC: Origin | Steam | Epic Games Store
- Console: PlayStation 4 | PlayStation 5 | Xbox One | Xbox Series X|S
As noted before, the beta will take place on just one map (Orbital) and, only four of the game's Specialists, and an assortment of weapons and hardware from the full game. The PC requirements for this beta can be found here.
