The pre-load for Battlefield 2042's upcoming beta went live last night. If you have not yet downloaded the content in preparation for tomorrow, here is how you can do it.

It is important to note that the beta will not show up automatically in your game library. You will need to visit specific parts of your storefront of choice. For instance, Steam has an option to "Request Access" to the Battlefield 2042 open beta. You will need to click that. Afterwards, the beta client will appear in your Steam Library. Origin has a "Try It First" option. Epic Games Store has a "Join Now" listing for the open beta.Early access to the beta begins on October 6 at 3AM (ET). This is for those that have pre-ordered the game and those that subscribe to EA Play. Everyone else will get access to the beta starting on October 8 at 3AM (ET). The beta will end for everyone on October 10 at 3AM (ET).

As noted before, the beta will take place on just one map (Orbital) and, only four of the game's Specialists, and an assortment of weapons and hardware from the full game. The PC requirements for this beta can be found here.
