A free weekend is also coming.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint

Ubisoft announced the launch of Deep State for Ghost Recon Breakpoint. This second episode of content for the game will add in new missions and see the return of Splinter Cell's Sam Fisher to the franchise. You may recall Sam was briefly added for a mission in the original Ghost Recon: Wildlands in 2018.

The return of old man Sam coincides with a fairly substantial update to the core game. The update is available for everyone but the new episode, Deep State, is for those that own the Season Pass. Deep State includes a new adventure and new options on how you go about playing the game. It features new classes, an option to play without gear score, and more. Players will meet up with Sam Fisher to try to see "just how deep this state goes." Ha. Good one.

A free weekend for the game begins on Thursday, March 26. This will give players a taste of what Ubisoft has done to overhaul the game that was severely flawed at release. The Deep State content is out alongside the 2.0 update for Ghost Recon Breakpoint. This update includes a ton of needed changes to the base game along with new features.

This includes what the devs are calling the "Ghost Experience." A separate post about the 2.0 title update can be found here. A sample of the changelog can be found below. Trust me when I say that the changelog is massive and that what I include below is less than the tip of the iceberg.
