Ghost Recon

Ubisoft may have accidentally leaked the name of their next Ghost Recon game ahead of tomorrow's reveal. The name? Ghost Recon Breakpoint. The following image was caught by Reddit user jrmywl30. They say that it appeared first on the Ghost Recon sub-Reddit and was quickly pulled.

The image shows a "Wolves Collector's Edition" for Ghost Recon Breakpoint. It's suggested that the game will be a direct sequel to Ghost Recon Wildlands. Does Wildlands need a sequel? Maybe. I'm not entirely sure many players even realize Wildlands has a story or could tell you what that story is though.

PC Gamer shared some details from other leaks surrounding the game. For one, the game will reportedly take place on the fictional island of Aurora. Additionally, the main villain will be Cole D. Walker, a "Ghost team leader and Jon Bernthal lookalike who came to Wildlands in the free new Operation Oracle expansion." They aren't wrong. He really does look like Jon Bernthal.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint

According to Ubisoft's news about the Operation Oracle expansion, Walker is a "Ghost team leader with his own agenda." Furthermore, players "will uncover information that will redefine loyalty." Ubisoft then lays it on even thicker by saying, "what you will discover here might very well set the scene for the future." I wonder what that could mean!

You don't have to take my word for it. You can play Operation Oracle for yourself. It's a free update out now for those that own Wildlands.
