This could be seen as an upgrade to their regular food, depending on who you ask.

McDonald's is preparing a special, unique 25th-anniversary celebration for XBOX. The fast-food giant is partnering with XBOX to offer several promotions based on XBOX properties. These promotions range from exclusive in-game unlocks to actual food items based on popular franchises.

The extent of these promotions isn't exactly clear. We do know that Fallout will have at least one food item offered for sale at McDonald's that is related to the franchise. Chief marketing officer for McDonald's UK and Ireland Tim Kenward says, "As a huge Fallout fan, I'm most excited for the Blamco Cheesy Potato Bites."

In the Fallout universe, BlamCo is best known for its mac and cheese. It probably isn't too far of a stretch to believe that BlamCo would also make and sell some sort of cheesy potato bites.

It's not clear if there will be more than just the BlamCo Cheesy Potato Bites offered to Fallout fans. It's also not clear what, if any, food items will be offered from other XBOX franchises.

Other popular XBOX-owned franchises will at least get some representation at McDonald's as part of this collaboration. XBOX will offer exclusive in-game items for the following titles.

Unfortunately for most readers of Total Gaming Network, these promotions and special food items won't be available in North America. They will only be available at McDonald's locations in the UK and Ireland. In addition, the promotional items will only be available through the McDonald's app in these locations.
