Borderlands 3 will be released on September 13, 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Epic Games Store. It will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store for a period of six months until being more widely released on the PC. That is, assuming, plans don't change between now and then.
Developer Gearbox and publisher 2K are saying that this is the return of the original shooter-looter, or "shlooter" if you think "why waste time say lot word."
