The Elder Scrolls: Blades delayed
Bethesda's upcoming free-to-play mobile title, The Elder Scrolls: Blades was set to be released this Fall. Instead, the studio has officially announced today that the game will not be released until some time in 2019. Things don't really seem to be going well for Bethesda this week, eh?

Given that we are now less than a month away from Winter kicking off, time was getting cut a little close to meet that "Fall" promise. The official word of the delay came via the official Elder Scrolls Twitter account.

You know what? After the state that Fallout 76 was released in, perhaps it's best that this was delayed. Take all the time you need on this, Bethesda. In fact, take all the time you need on any other game you're making, regardless of which platform(s) it's for.

At the very least, Bethesda has a fairly decent track record when it comes to mobile releases. Their first foray came with Fallout Shelter, which ended up being a fairly solid experience that later went on to be quite successful for the studio on other, non-mobile platforms.
