Square Enix debuted a new trailer for Final Fantasy XV: Episode Ignis earlier today at the PlayStation event at Paris Games Week 2017. Get your first look at the DLC which is expected to be released on December 13.FINAL FANTASY® XV fans will soon be able to uncover the untold story surrou
nding Ignis’s battle against Leviathan during the events of the main game. Today’s newly released trailer, titled “Episode Ignis,” teases some of the challenges he faces and the battles he endures while protecting the crown prince, Noctis.
Slated for release on December 13, the newest DLC episode allows players to experience a brand-new storyline from the perspective of Ignis, featuring new music from legendary composer Yasunori Mitsuda (CHRONO TRIGGER®, CHRONO CROSS®, Xenogears®).
Other features from Episode Ignis include:
• A brand-new storyline unknown to Noctis as he remains unconscious after the Trial of Leviathan. Ignis faces his own fight on the streets of Altissia, driven by his unwavering dedication to protect Noctis at all costs.
• Fast-paced action - Ignis’s spelldaggers can be imbued with elemental properties, and his unique ability “Total Clarity” allows him to target and attack multiple enemies at once.
• A new comrade, Ravus - following the guest appearances of Cor in Episode Gladiolus and Aranea in Episode Prompto, Ravus will join forces with Ignis, putting allegiances aside in order to save the ones they care about.
• Master Your Fate – this episode features multiple endings, allowing players to see a different outcome of events.
