BF@ instaled but not working

Specs:at bottom because attachment didnt work ><

Drivers: I have updated directx and nvidia drivers with the ones given with the copy of the game.

what happend: I just got myself a Christmas present and installed it. Every thing seemed to instal fine. When i go to play BF2 i get the initial installer menu(the really small one) but when i press "play BF2" or "play bf2 online now!" the screen turns black, then grey, then black, then crashes to my desk top. This is very wierd cause i have a preety powerful PC that has run every game i have thrown at it, any sugestions ?

Geforce 4 video cards aren't supported, you need a video card with 128 MB RAM and Shader Model 1.4

ughhh are you serious.... it is a preety good card, but damn, is there any hack or a driver update or any thing that can trick the card to work ? I mean it is 128bit card. I run all my other games on highest graphical settings.... Or is the only alternative a new g-card?

no. even if u do get it to work, u will have screen lag. i mean LOTS of screen lag. ur fps probably will go under 20. maybe less. i say invest in a new video card.
