Hidetaka "Swery" Suehiro debuted his new game today. The Good Life is a mystery RPG set in the small town of Rainy Woods. Billed as "the happiest town in the world" the town holds a weird secret.The secret? The townsfolk turn into cats at night.
Oh, there's also a murder mystery. But whatever, what's this about cats?
"Once the sun sets, you'll get to explore Rainy Woods and collect clues and important items connected to the events of the story. The town becomes a very different place at night, as certain secret paths, rooftops, and attics can only be accessed by cats."
Swery and his team at White Owls will show off more at PAX West. Until then, enjoy this trailer.
Still sad I won't be seeing anymore D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die. Or at least it won't be by Swery. I really wanted that D4 and Deadly Premonition crossover. I know it was a joke, but people really encouraged him to consider making it DLC.
