If you hate dragons, this isn't the video for you. Blizzard released a new animated short today in their Overwatch video series. This one focuses on the character of Hanzo, the bow and arrow using badass from the game.
Overwatch is out on May 24 in either a $40 version (PC only) or a $60 version (PC, XB1, and PS4).
I went ahead and picked it up. I'm not sure how much I'll play it, it's got a super fun yet very repetitive type of gameplay that I've kinda grown away from. (I've come to prefer games with progression, like rpg's.) But it's a fun one to pick up and play every now and then for a few hours at a time.
I know, it did get repetitive in terms of maps and objectives, but I dont know the last time I had so much genuine fun playing a game. The way the characters are so different in the way they play and how you can turn a game around by picking the right counter-characters (almost like good old true battlefield rock-paper-scissors) just made every game have a refreshing feel to it even though the maps and objectives soon started to feel repetitive.
I'm just hoping they will at some point soon start slowly adding new characters and maps (moba style). Because even though it is an incredibly crafted game in most senses(I was also surprised how Blizzard was able to pull such a solid FPS), it feels sort of expensive for the quantity of content it offers.
Honestly, it reminded me of TF2, from back before TF2 added so much junk to the game that it became one big chaotic mess with hats. I sure hope that doesn't happen to Overwatch. Cosmetics are fine, but keep the combat pure and simple.
New characters are fine, but changing the way characters work, making them customizable, so when you go up against a Widowmaker you have no idea whether it's a sniper or a shotgunner or a stealth camper or a melee fighter...that'd be quite annoying.
My friends and I have taking to viewing Overwatch as Team Fortress 3. It really fits that sort of mold and feels like a great experience since TF2 got way, way too bloated with weird nonsense.

An improvement over the original but with some severe performance woes.
Dragon's Dogma 2 is expected to be released on March 22 but the reviews have already started to pour in. The reviews have been extremely favorable for Dragon's Dogma 2 so far, with most outlets saying that this sequel improves upon the original. However, some of the flaws of the first game are not addressed in this sequel and the performance across all platforms, especially on PC, leaves a lot to be desired....
It's a sequel but you still play multiplayer with the first game.
Blizzard announced Overwatch 2 today at BlizzCon. This sequel adds in a few PvE focused modes as well as the same multiplayer you are probably already well aware of.
Up to four players can join forces to do battle against the computer in a series of Story Missions. There are also Hero Missions where players will have to defend cities against robot invasions. Both of these modes sound a lot like the limited...
