  • Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell Expansion Announced by Volition

During their PAX Prime 2014 panel, Volition made an announcement most fans have been waiting for. They revealed the name of a new game expansion for Saints Row IV!

Wait, it's not a new game? Aw shucks.

It's called Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell and it's apparently going to be a stand-alone expansion for Saints Row IV. In addition to this news, Volition revealed that they are bringing Saints Row IV to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Gat Out of Hell will go for $19.95 for the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 release of just Saints Row IV will run you $29.99 or you can bundle it with Gat Out of Hell for $49.99 on those two current-gen platforms.

PC players will also get the ability to create custom weapons with the release of the SDK today.

Volition Promises a Major Saints Row Bug Fix Update for November
      by Shawn Zipay
The company also revealed some rather anemic sales figures.

The new Saints Row game had a hell of a rocky launch. It was panned by critics and fans alike for its myriad of bugs, performance issues, and repetitive gameplay. Sadly, while the gameplay part can't just be easily "fixed," the bugs and other issues can be addressed and that is precisely what Volition plans to do.

In late November, Volition says they will release a major update to the game that will tackle...
