  According to leaker Tom Henderson, EA is pretty disappointed with how Battlefield 2042 is performing. Henderson says that the publisher is now "looking at all the options" when it comes to the game.   Prior to going on their holiday break, DICE added in a Battlefield 2042 Rush mode to Battlefield Portal. It proved to be a fairly popular mode, at least as far as Portal modes are concerned. It was the much enjoyed Rush mode but played out across the Battlefield 2042 maps, something that just isn't possible in the main game.   Battlefield 2042 currently has a free play weekend underway on Steam. The free weekend is available through Steam right this very second (so long as you read this before the end date) and can be downloaded and played until your little heart is content.

  DICE somehow totally broke mouse aiming in Update #3.
  
  If you downloaded Update #3 for Battlefield 2042, and found yourself unable to aim left or right on the PC, you aren't alone. DICE somehow broke mouse aiming as part of the rollout for their latest update.
  
  DICE has publicly acknowledged their blunder and have listed a potential fix under their Live Service Alerts.
  
  Their suggestion is to restore all default settings by going to My Documents > Battlefield...

  When a six-shooter turns into a five-shooter.
  
  One of the (several) bugs included in Battlefield 2042 was an issue involving the M44 sidearm. Prior to today's release of Update #3, the gun had a very odd issue with how reloading was handled.
  
  At release, a reload of the gun when empty would only reload five rounds. The problem is, there are six rounds in the chamber. You can see it during the reload animation. The gun is supposed to have six rounds and you have 18 rounds...
