As part of their information dump today, DICE provided a few details about what they're working on for Update 3.3 for Battlefield 2042. This update is scheduled to be released in late February. We already took a look at the first release of a scoreboard that they're adding with Update 3.3, but what else can we expect to see?

Update 3.3 will include "changes that have been in the works since we returned after the holidays," says DICE. Beyond the scoreboard, DICE really didn't say what would be included in the update, rather they said what probably wouldn't be included in it. They state that "matchmaking preferences in All-Out Warfare and All Platform VOIP" are things that are "still on our radar."

Other hot topics, such as game performance, were talked about in vague terms. DICE says that they "continue to analyze the data available to us, and develop further optimizations that enable the game to make best use of your hardware." Though not specified for either Update 3.2 or Update 3.3, DICE claims that "in every update, we'll be delivering changes big and small that aim to tackle the issues and improve your experience."

Without VOIP, it's very hard to recommend that anybody even bother with the included Hazard Zone mode unless you're playing with friends and using Discord or console-based party chat.
