Rockstar Games is doing something nice for fans. Starting on June 18, those that own Grand Theft Auto 5 on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will be able to upgrade to the current-gen versions of the game for free. Rockstar specifically says that these upgrades will apply only to the digital version of Xbox One and to "any" copy on PlayStation 4. It probably also stands to reason that you won't be able to hop between console families with this, so only PS4...

Over the weekend, Rockstar Games confirmed that they suffered a data breach by an outside party.

The confirmation of the data breach was made in a Rockstar statement to Kotaku, saying that "a limited amount of non-material information was accessed in connection with a third-party data breach." Rockstar's statement continues on to say, "this incident has no impact on our organization or our players."

It may have taken a bit of time, but Red Dead Redemption is finally available on PC for the first time ever. Today, Rockstar Games released Red Dead Redemption and the Undead Nightmare expansion via places like Steam, Epic Games Store, and through Rockstar directly.
