Ubisoft Forward 2024 will take place on June 10 at 12PM (PT). The annual showcase is confirmed to included fresh looks at Star Wars Outlaws, Assassin's Creed Shadows, XDefiant, and more.
It should be expected that Ubisoft will dedicated a large amount of time to both Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin's Creed Shadows. While XDefiant was also mentioned in their teaser, that free-to-play shooter was already released on May 21st and is not an upcoming title. Perhaps we'll see a roadmap of future content for XDefiant though.
Speaking of XDefiant, the game reportedly pulled in 1 million unique players in its first three hours of availability. Having tried it out myself, I can certainly see the appeal. Though some of the hit registration is questionable (the developers have said they are aware and are working on fixes), the game feels quite solid, especially as a free-to-play competitive shooter. If you don't want to purchase the latest Call of Duty titles, or just want to try something similar but different, I suggest you give XDefiant a try. "It's not bad!" Slap that quote on the box, Ubisoft.
As for the "and more" part of today's teaser, that's anybody's guess. I would probably expect to see more Just Dance, because there is always a Just Dance game at these events. A long shot reveal would be a look at the Splinter Cell remake that is supposedly still being worked on. An even longer shot reveal would be a look at a new entry in The Division franchise.
