In a world where 60FPS on current-gen is uncertain, it's nice to get some good news.

Several games lately have shipped without any sort of a 60FPS performance mode option on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. What used to be the norm near the launch of these newer consoles has now seemingly become so uncertain that it's now newsworthy when a game announces it will ship with a 60FPS performance option.

Remnant 2 developer, Gunfire Games, says that the game will ship with a 60FPS performance mode option. The reveal comes via Twitter from Gunfire Games president David Adams. Adams was responding to a question posed by fans about if such a performance mode would be included. Included in the short responses, Adams also noted that motion blur can be turned off.

Continuing in that same Twitter thread, Adams also notes that you are able to change your primary archetype, there are secrets again just as in the first game, and there is some post-launch content planned but nothing that is ready to be announced yet.

Remnant 2 is a sequel to 2019's Remnant: From the Ashes. Both titles are co-op (you can still play solo if you want) action-RPGs with a touch of looter-shooter added in. Remnant 2 is expected to be out on July 25 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
