It looks like a new Silent Hill game is coming! Maybe? Something called Silent Hill: The Short Message was recently given a rating in South Korea.

The Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea gave a rating (via Gematsu) to this still unannounced Silent Hill project. The publisher is listed as UNIANA, which apparently is a regular publisher for Konami's titles in Korea.

That's really all we know right now about this project. Some are speculating that this could be an upcoming playable teaser for a fuller game. This "playable teaser" has been rumored for a little while now. We last reported on its existence back in June.

At the time, this teaser game was said to be codenamed Sakura. It is said to be a free digital download that will come out ahead of the actual game's release. Images that were leaked a week prior in May were said to have come from this playable teaser. At that point in time, this playable teaser is said to be a precursor to a new mainline Silent Hill game.

Several other Silent Hill projects are also still reportedly in development. Those include a remake of Silent Hill 2 from Bloober Team, in addition to a series of episodic stories from Annapurna Interactive.
