A free demo for Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is now available on PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, Switch, and Steam. The demo will let you try out the early stages of the game ahead of its full release on October 15, 2026. Progress that is earned in the demo will carry over to the release version.
Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is an upcoming 2D action game, perhaps even a "Metroidvania" style game, developed by Konami, Evil Empire, and Motion Twin. Pre-orders for the game are now available through your storefront of choice.
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is an exploration-based 2D action game developed jointly by KONAMI, Evil Empire and Motion Twin. The story unfolds in Paris, France, in 1499—23 years after the events of the popular series entry Castlevania III. Rose Belmont, daughter of the Dracula-slaying hero Trevor Belmont, sets out to defeat monsters whilst exploring the burning streets of Paris and Dracula’s castle, utilizing a variety of weapons and skills, including the sacred whip ‘Vampire Killer’.
Pre-orders for both the physical and digital editions are now available. The digital or physical Midnight Editions of Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse include alternate costumes for Rose Belmont, a Digital Sound & Art Gallery, and an in-game relic item. Pre-ordering or early purchase of any of the game edition will also award an extra Alucard-style costume for Rose Belmont.
