Ahead of Ubisoft's Forward conference for E3, producer Antoine Vimal du Monteil revealed a new title to the world. What was once known as Rainbow Six Quarantine, then Rainbow Six Parasite, is now officially called Rainbow Six Extraction.

Ubisoft claims that the game has "grown a lot." Extraction is set to be a "modern, tactical shooter where you'll be facing an always-evolving alien threat." Rainbow Six Extraction will make a full reveal at E3 2021, but we do have a few additional details to share.

Ubisoft released two separate videos on Extraction today. One is a developer interview and the other is a cinematic look at the game entitled "Sprawl." Ubisoft wants to push away from the events of the past year, hence the multiple name changes, and instead focus on the PvE experience. This experience will pit teams of players against the alien infection and the things that the parasite infects.

Ubisoft Forward begins June 12 at 3PM (ET). The pre-show will begin at 2PM.
