We already got a glimpse at the games that were being added to Game Pass for the month of January, but apparently that wasn't everything. Ubisoft announced that they are also going to offer Game Pass subscribers Rainbow Six Extraction on January 20. This is the same day that it will be out on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Rainbow Six Extraction is a PvE FPS that pits three players against an alien race called the Archeans. This game began life as Rainbow Six Quarantine back when it was announced at E3 2019. It then changed the name to Rainbow Six Parasite before eventually going with Rainbow Six Extraction.

In addition to Extraction, Game Pass subscribers will get access to Rainbow Six Siege on January 20. If you do not have Game Pass, the game will be sold for $39.99 (USD).

Ubisoft also announced today that they are bringing their subscription based service, Ubisoft+, to Xbox consoles in the near future. Ubisoft+ is already available for PC for $15 per month. Similar to other subscription services like Game Pass or EA Play, Ubisoft+ grants subscribers access to dozens of Ubisoft's titles. However, unlike EA Play which is included with a Game Pass subscription, Ubisoft+ will be sold separately.
