Over on Twitter, Capcom officially announced that they will have a showcase for E3 201. This event is scheduled for June 14 at 2:30PM (PT).

According to the tweet, Capcom will have news on their "latest games lineup" that includes: The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, Monster Hunter Stories 2, Monster Hunter Rise, and Resident Evil Village. There could also be some brand new game announcements made at the show as well....

So, E3 is coming up pretty soon here and you know what that means? Yep, conferences and a lot of them at that. The ESA just put out the schedule of events for the week of E3, which kicks off starting June 12 at 1PM (ET). The first day includes conferences from Ubisoft and Gearbox.

On June 13th, the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase takes place at 1PM. There will also be showings from Square Enix, the PC Gaming Show, and the Future Games Show. After all that...

Expect the show to run for about 40 minutes.

Nintendo will host a near 40-minute long E3 2021 event on June 15, 2021. This E3 branded Nintendo Direct will begin at 12PM (ET). Afterwards, Nintendo will host a live Nintendo Tree House event that will run for about 3 hours and feature plenty of gameplay footage and probably some interviews.

The hosts of E3 2021 have officially been selected. Yes, "hosts" plural. There will be three hosts brought on to host the global event that runs from Saturday, June 12 through Tuesday, June 15. You probably already guessed who one of them is because he seemingly hosts everything. That's right, Greg Miller is one of the three that you will see during the event.

ESA denies rumors that they were going to lock content behind a paywall.

There was a report circulating today that the Electronic Software Association was considering locking some parts of this year's online E3 event behind a paywall. To counter that rumor, the ESA quickly stated that this year's event will be free for all attendees.

In 2020, E3 decided they weren't going to hold their annual event due to COVID-19. Pandemics, am I right? That was probably the smartest idea they've had in a while. What wasn't all that great was the fact that they did not have any sort of digital substitute lined up to replace it. This led to a long, drawn-out Summer where every publisher seemingly had their own event on whatever day and time they wanted.

That kind of sucked....
