  • Watch Dogs: Legion System Requirements Updated

You now need an RTX 3080 for 4K with ray tracing.

Ubisoft has updated their system requirements for Watch Dogs: Legion today. Previously, you would be able to max out the game with all of its bells, whistles, and RTX capabilities at 4K with "only" an Intel i7-9700K and a GeForce RTX 2080 Ti.

Now, it seems as though the same settings (Ultra at 4K with RTX) will require one of the new Nvidia RTX 3080 cards. This is now paired with an Intel Core i9-9900K. Yes, both the CPU and GPU were bumped up for the Ultra setting at 4K resolution. When compared to the old recommended settings, Ubisoft did add a 1440p "Very High" setting that includes ray tracing. This setting requires an i7-9700 paired with a GeForce RTX 3070, which isn't actually out just yet.

You can see a comparison of the old requirements (left) with the newly revised recommended settings (right). You may also notice that the "low" option has been given a slight bump in its requirements when compared to the old.

This game, curiously, has no actual dogs.

This coming weekend, anybody with an Ubisoft account will be able to download and play a portion of Watch Dogs Legion. Afterwards, as is common with free weekends, you will be able to purchase the game at a steep discount.

Watch Dogs 3 'Legion' Leak - London Setting, Play as Anybody ala 'MindJack'
      by Shawn Zipay
Let's get these E3 2019 rumors starting off strong.

In 2011 a game was released wherein the main character could "hack" into
the minds of any other character and take control of them. The game was called MindJack (pictured above) and, in addition to the unique mind hacking, the game also featured a single-player story that could "transition seamlessly" into co-op. It wasn't all that well received.

Fast-forward to the present and a hot pre-E3...
