According to the technical gurus over at Digital Foundry, Command & Conquer Remastered Collection is "one of the greatest remasters ever made" and an "exceptional piece of work."

The classic real-time strategy title underwent a massive remastering undertaking for its 25th anniversary release. As we noted before, the Petroglyph developed title includes Tiberian Dawn, Red Alert, and three expansion packs: Covert Ops, Counterstrike, and The Aftermath.

It's available now through both Steam and Origin for an affordable $19.99 (USD).

  I went for the Limited Run Games Collector's Edition which was definitely not affordable at all whatsoever. D'oh! (I really like Command & Conquer, although I Generals was never my cup of tea for some odd reason. And I didn't play 4/Rivals either. So I sort of like C&C? Whatever, just gimme mah C&C Thang!)

Command & Conquer Remastered Releasing on Origin and Steam on June 5

The classic strategy series returns very soon.

On June 5, in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the franchise, Command & Conquer Remastered Collection will be released. EA announced that this compilation of real-time strategy titles will hit PC via both Origin and Steam.

Included in this collection are Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn, Command & Conquer: Red Alert and the three expansion packs of Covert Ops, Counterstrike, and The Aftermath.
