This year's potential sleeper hit just got a free content update.
Remnant: From the Ashes Leto's Lab

Remnant: From the Ashes is one of the best games of 2019 that you probably aren't playing (yet). You should. And to sweeten that temptation, the dev team at Gunfire Games just released a new, free content update for the game. The update, entitled Leto's Lab, offers a new dungeon with the same name as the title of the update.

In addition to this new dungeon, today's update also includes a wide assortment of bug fixes, quality of life adjustments, new items and armor specific to this new dungeon, and a few additional changes.

Remnant: From the Ashes is the type of game you would get if you took many of the gameplay mechanics from the Dark Souls games, mixed in some exotic firearms in addition to melee abilities, an assortment of magical mods, some randomness to the level designs, and a healthy dose of seamless drop-in jolly cooperation. It's the type of game where you can sink, say at least 27 hours into it and still want to play some more.

The full list of changes can be found over on Steam. Remnant: From the Ashes is out now for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. I've included the game's launch trailer from late August.

Welcome to Leto's Lab!

This all-new dungeon can be found dynamically in Ruined Earth within both the main campaign and Adventure Mode itself. Explore this hidden laboratory and discover the dark secrets of Dr. Leto Apostolakis experiments. Take a trip through Leto's Lab and see if you can brave the horrors lurking within.
