Punching Nazis is more fun with a friend.
Wolfenstein: Youngblood

On Friday, or Thursday for those on PC, Wolfenstein: Youngblood will be released. And when it does, you and a friend will get to punch, shoot, and *gasp* kill a bunch of Nazis together. It stands to reason that a release trailer would be out today just ahead of the impending release of the game. Youngblood starts at $29.99 (USD) and is coming for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.

In Wolfenstein: Youngblood, you play as one of BJ Blazkowicz's two daughters, Jess and Soph. They are searching for their father in Paris. Developers MachineGames and Arkane Studios say that this is the "most dynamic, open-ended Nazi killin'" entry to date.

If you get the Deluxe Edition of the game, you will get access to a Buddy Pass, which will allow a friend to play co-op with you at no extra charge. That's right, they don't even need to own the game if you gift them that pass. The Deluxe Edition also includes the Cyborg Skin Pack.

Everyone that pre-orders the game will get the Legacy Pack. This gives players access to "some of BJ's most iconic outfits and weapons from the Wolfenstein franchise." These include the following items.

  • The Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Jacket Power Suit
  • B.J.’s US Army Power Suit
  • The Wolfenstein: Old Blood Pipe
  • The Wolfenstein: Old Blood Knife
  • A WW2 Weapon Skin Set for all ranged weapons

Oddly enough, Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot is also out on July 26 for the PC and PlayStation VR. Cyberpilot is the VR only Wolfenstein title. It is its own thing. It's also not getting much promotion from Bethesda for some reason. I figured those with VR devices may be interested in having this reminder shared with them. It should also be noted that Oculus devices don't seem to be supported in Cyberpilot anymore. This change seems to have happened fairly recently according to the Steam Store page for Cyberpilot.

Cyberpilot is going for $19.99 (USD).
