I need an umbrella for all these leaks!
Stadia

The Google Stadia Connect that is set to begin roughly right as this post goes live, will share the first details about the pricing structure for the upcoming streaming platform. As it turns out, that information was leaked earlier this morning. The information was reported on by Kotaku but originally shared by Canadian news outlet, La Presse.

Stadia will include both a subscription model and offer up games for sale individually. The Stadia launches this November and includes a base subscription starting at $11.99 (CAD) per month. This is maybe about $10 in USD. This tier will give you access to some Stadia titles at 4K resolution and 60fps.

Other games, namely newer releases, will still need to be purchased.

In 2020, Google is set to launch a "Stadia Base" plan that will be free, but will only give you access to games at 1080p resolution. I think for most people, this would still be more than adequate.

Backing up again to this Fall, Google will release a Stadia Founder's Edition for $169 (CAD). It will come with a Chromecast Ultra, Stadia controller, a three-month subscription, and Destiny 2. Destiny 2 has been all but outright confirmed for the past week or so to be coming to the Stadia platform.

Stadia's launch lineup also includes games like The Division 2, the latest Tomb Raider trilogy, Doom, and Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

Those who want the most basic of experiences with Stadia should reportedly have a connection speed that is 10mbps down and 1mbps up.

I guess we'll see right this second if these leaks are true or not.
