Years after speculation and rumor, Bethesda finally confirmed tonight that Starfield is indeed a real game that is really coming from them. Starfield is the first new IP from Bethesda in 25 years.

I wouldn't have believed that fact myself if it didn't come straight from Bethesda themselves.

Much like The Elder Scrolls VI, we know next to nothing about Starfield. All that we have heard is that it's a "next-gen" game. That sure sounds like it won't be coming out for a very long time. Just think though, The Elder Scrolls VI is supposedly coming out after this does. Yeah, expect some news about these games in like five years from now if you're lucky.
Discover Starfield, the new space epic currently in development by Bethesda Game Studios. Starfield is the first new franchise in twenty-five years from the acclaimed developers of The Elder Scrolls and Fallout series.

    by Shawn Zipay
See what critics are saying about the most anticipated game of 2023.

The first major wave of reviews are in for Starfield and, well, they aren't bad. They're not super great either but they certainly aren't bad.

    Review: Starfield

A safe, if not soulless, journey through the cosmos.

They instill a feeling of "I know this game won't be groundbreaking, but I know I'll have fun." Yes, there are some obvious differences, but the heart of each Bethesda game is almost universally the same. The recent release of Starfield is no different. To put it bluntly: Starfiel...

Bethesda Celebrates 25 Years of Elder Scrolls with a Morrowind Giveaway
    by Shawn Zipay

Bethesda is celebrating 25 years of The Elder Scrolls today. On this day back in 1994, Bethesda released the first Elder Scrolls title called The Elder Scrolls: Arena for DOS. And while it's not that easy to play the original Elder Scrolls on modern machines, you should still be able to play The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.

It's probably a good thing that FOR TODAY ONLY (March 25, 2019), you can get a free copy of Morrowind to keep forever and ever for the life of the Bethesda.net...
